Marie Orris

Marie E. Orris, 87, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, June 13, 2003 at the Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, with the burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the chapel. Marie was born on May 26, 1915 in Independence, MO to Emmett and Gertrude Bowen. She is survived by two loving daughters, Alice Leach and Donna Fisher; and one son, Ron Orris. She was cared for in the final years by her devoted sister-in-law, Rebecca Bowen. She was also revered by loving friends, Alice Bowman and family, Edith Lewis and Shirley Hicks. No Kinder, sweeter, or more loving and honest person has ever walked this earth.
