Winnifred V. "Jean� Orris, 98, Kansas City, MO, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at the White Ridge Health Center in Lee�s Summit MO. Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, May 26, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence MO, 64052. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-10:00 am at the Chapel preceding the service. Mrs. Orris was born May 30, 1906. She had lived in the Kansas City area for many years. She was married to Leo Orris for over sixty years. Mrs. Orris raised her grandson and devoted herself to him and his family. She had an abiding faith and lived out her witness in quiet simplicity. Mrs. Orris was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in 1993. She is survived by her grandson, Roy G. Horridge, III, and wife Beth, Lee�s Summit, MO; two great-grandchildren, Shawn and Brooke Horridge; and other loving relatives and friends.
