Gerald Ott Osburn, 72, of Deepwater, MO, formerly of Independence, died Wed., Jan. 2, 2008 at his home. Services will be 10:00 am, Mon, Jan 7, 2008 at the Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 �" 8:30 pm, Sunday at the chapel. Mr. Osburn was born on Sep. 22, 1935 to William and Flora Osburn in Kansas City, MO and had lived in Independence before moving to Deepwater in 1991. He was Baptized at Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Independence, MO. Gerald had been a cab drive for many years and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie and his son, Jerry Gene Osburn. He is survived by a sister, Roberta Robinett of Smelterville, ID; a daughter, Elizabeth Louise Dockery of Lowery City, MO; two sons, Ernest L. Osburn, Kingsville, MO and William E. Osburn, Lowery City, MO; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
