Bernadine M. Otten

Bernadine M. Otten, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Independence, MO., on Friday Sept. 17, 2004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am, Monday, Sept. 20 at St. Mark�s Church, 3736 Lee�s Summit Road, Independence, MO. Visitation will be 9 - 11 am, Monday at the church. Committal services will be 2:30 pm, Monday at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, K.C., KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Northland Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Bernadine was a housewife and mother and in later years she worked in real estate. She was preceded in death by her sons, Joseph & Gregory Otten, her mother Delphine McCoy, father Sidney McCoy, brother Gene Raymond McCoy, and her step-mother Mary Lois McCoy. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Leon J. Otten; daughter Karen Miller; son Steven Otten; and three loving grandchildren KC & Coree Miller, Melissa Otten; and step-sister, Jeannie Richardson.
