Layla Joy Mildred Owens, infant daughter of Cornelius Owens and Katrina Apley, passed away June 7, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Mound Grove Cemetery. Layla is survived by her parents; maternal grandparents, Ted Apley and Kathleen Apley; paternal grandparents, Julius Buggs and Gaye Owens; uncles: Sean Owens, Julius Buggs, Jr. and Chris Apley; and aunt, Lashawn Owens. She was preceded in death by her brother, Malaci Apley.
