Anna Katherine (Kay) Oyster

Anna Katherine (Kay) Jennison Oyster, 83, of Independence, MO passed away of Parkinson�s disease on Friday, August 26, 2005. Services and interment in Arlington National Cemetery will be private. Kay was born in Parkersburg, WV. She graduated from Marietta College in 1942, where she met her husband, Dale Eugene Oyster, who died in 1996 after fifty-four years of marriage. Before relocating to Missouri to be near her son, Roger, Kay lived in Annandale, VA for thirty years. During World War II, Kay worked in a government laboratory in Dayton, OH as a chemist. She returned to work in her sixties at the Fairfax, VA County School District. Kay is survived by a brother, Charlie Jennison of St. Clairsville, OH; three children, Carol Oyster of La Crosse, WI, Barbara Oyster (Bill Hiscock) of Bozeman, MT, and Roger Oyster (Susan Medler) of Independence, MO; seven grandchildren.
