Jo Ann Pape, 69, of Blue Springs, MO, passed from this life on February 21, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO. Jo Ann was born in Kansas City, MO on November 3, 1940, to Mitchell & Lula Mae (Pine) Rusick. Jo Ann enjoyed collecting family pictures, fishing, playing cards and was an Elvis fan. Jo Ann was blessed with 4 children: David McCarty and partner, Veronica Barber, of Independence, MO; Anna Marie Noel and husband Paul Roberts of Jacksonville, FL; Michelle Millican and husband, Ryan, of Blue Springs, MO; Chad Gall and partner, Trina Miller, of Richmond, MO; 17 grandchildren: Anna McCarty, Sandra McCarty, David McCarty Jr., Cindy Baty, Jackie (JJ) Wingate, Jeremy Noel, Christina Noel, Dylan Caldwell, Jocelyn Caldwell, Alyssa Caldwell, Alec Hodgeman, Ashton Hodgeman, Chelsea Cummings, McKenna Cummings, Christopher Millican, Bryce Millican and 2 great grandchildren: Amara Baty and Emily Jones; 4 brothers: Kenneth W. Hale, Kenneth J. Hale Jr., David Rusick, Bob Rusick; 3 sisters: Pamela Johnson, Joyce Vermillion, Darlene Paez. She was preceeded in death my her mother, Lula Hale; father, Mitch Rusick; step-father, Kenneth J. Hale Sr.; sister, Delores Jean Stone, and a precious granddaughter, Alica McCarty. Visitation will be held from 2-5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO with service starting at 5:30 p.m. that evening.
