Guy Papetti

Guy R. Papetti, 82, Lake Lotawana, MO, passed away suddenly May 29, 2012. Services will be 10 am, Monday, June 4 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Sunday at the chapel.
Guy was born April 26, 1930 in Dayton, OH. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for the FAA for over thirty years and retired in April of 1985. Guy was a gentle person with a sweet nature who loved dancing and was known also for his wonderful singing voice.
Guy is survived by his wife of nearly thirty-one years, Bonnie Papetti, of the home; daughters Brenda Holmes and husband Michael, Oklahoma City, OK; Mary Miller, Tahlequah, OK; Martha Garrett and husband Larry, Gracemont, OK; Patty Handing, Anza, CA; step-sons Billy Miller and wife Marie, Lake Lotawana, MO; Alan Miller, St. Elizabeth, MO; and several grandchildren.
