Bonnie G. Park, 71 passed away on Feb 5, 2005 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm, Sat. Feb 12, 2005 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens on Salisbury Rd, East of M-291 Highway. Following the Graveside Service, a gathering of family and friends will occur at 4:00 pm, at the Waldo Avenue Restoration Branch, 819 W. Waldo, Independence, MO. Flowers may be sent to Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Indep. MO. Bonnie was born on September 14, 1933 to Charles William and Etta Muriel Palmer in Spring City, MO. Following her graduation from Pierce City High School, she met her future husband while visiting a brother in California. She married Robert Gayland Park on Sep. 5, 1952, in Monterey, CA. They soon moved to Missouri and raised three children, Larry, David and Linda. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1997, her parents, sister, Muriel Dykens, brothers William Palmer, Morris Palmer, Jack Palmer and Stanford Palmer. She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two brothers, Hubert Palmer and Dick Palmer. Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew her.
