Harris Dean Parker

January 10, 1923 — December 5, 2004

Harris Dean "Ollie� Parker, 81, Grain Valley, Mo. died Dec. 5, 2004 at St. Mary�s of Blue Springs Hospital. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Parker was born Jan. 10, 1923 in Elko, Nevada. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and was a lead systems technician at T.W.A. for 37 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church (formerly R.L.D.S.). He was preceded in death by a son Fredrick R. Parker. He is survived by his wife Hazel Parker, of the home; son Gilbert Parker and wife Mary, Independence, Mo.; son Dan Parker and wife Jana, Blue Springs, Mo.; daughter-in-law Allison Parker, Blue Springs, Mo.; brother Robert Parker and wife Lorraine, LaBrea, Ca.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Harris was deeply loved by his family and respected by all who knew him for his kindness, courtesy, patience, loyalty and friendship. He will be missed and long remembered.
