Helen L. Parker, 81, Buckner, MO went to be with her Lord and Savior Jan. 9, 2007. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 at Speaks Buckner Chapel; cremation. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Heart of God Church, Sibley, MO 64016.
Helen was born Aug. 21, 1925 in Independence, MO and lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of the Heart of God Church and enjoyed reading her Bible often. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Frank Parker, six sisters and one brother. She is survived by daughters Alice Ames and husband Rob, Buckner, MO; Ann Gray, Overland Park, KS; sister Eva Lytle; brother Wilbert Heather and wife Dorothy, all of Independence; Bill Heather and wife Betty, Florence, MO; sister Agnes Meyer, Denver, CO; and grandchildren Diana; Mandy and husband Jason; and Steven and wife Sarah
