Jeannette Parker, 62, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Lee’s Summit Hospital. A visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. Services will be at 10 AM, Wednesday at the Chapel with cremation to follow. The family suggests contributions be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Ave. Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
Jeannette was born April 23, 1945 to William and Betty Allen. She worked as a bookkeeper for a consulting firm, collected stuffed animals and was an expert bingo player. Jeannette was a genuinely nice, caring and giving person, always having something positive to say with a smile on her face. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Robert Allen and Joy Allen, and is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Briece Parker) Scanlon and husband Pat; son, Orban Parker; brother, William Allen and wife Nettie; and four grandchildren.
