Wayne Martin Parker

Wayne Martin Parker, 63 of Sibley, passed away on Sun. Jun 27, 2004 at his home. Services will be 1:00 pm, Wed. Jun 30, 2004 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner, MO. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the Chapel. Mr. Parker was born on Dec. 28, 1940 to James and Dorothy Parker in Sibley, MO and was a lifelong area resident. He had retired from Fleming Foods in 1995 after 33 years of service. He was a member of the R.L.D.S. Church in which he held the office of priest. Wayne was a member of the Igams Gem & Mineral Club. He and his wife Laura had previously owned, Ma and Pa�s exotic animal farm. He was a loving husband and devoted father. He was preceded in death by a daughter Trina Jones and one brother, Glen parker. Wayne is survived by his wife of 42 years, Laura Parker of the home. Three sons, William Parker of Oak Grove, MO, Dwayne Parker of Independence, MO and Charles Parker of Atherton, MO. Five daughters, Colleen Warren of Virginia Beach, VA, Rose Parker of Holden, MO, Sheila Harper of Edwards, MO. Laurie Gamm of Sibley, MO and Renee Burke of Independence, MO. Twenty two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, A sister Linda Parker of Holt, MO and many other family members and friends. Wayne will be missed by all who love him.
