Trawna Lynn Parrish, 51 of Wellington, MO passed away Monday, February 3, 2020. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Trawna was born January 10, 1969 in Oakland, CA to Donald and Karen Sue (Thomsen) Funk. She had worked outside the home but was mainly a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include; her loving husband of 32 years, Joel Parrish of the home; a daughter, Tiara Beatty and husband Gregory of Independence, MO; 2 sons, Dylan Parrish and wife Alissa of North Kansas City, MO and Dawson Parrish of the home; a brother, Donnie Funk of Independence, MO; her mother and step father who raised her, Karen and Ron Parks of Independence, MO and 5 grandchildren, Owen, Mariah, Xavier, Aileigh and Rylan.
