Francie Parsons

Francie Sue Parsons, 68, Independence, MO passed away Oct. 2, 2007. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Sat., Oct. 6, 2007 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; visitation will be 1:00-2:30 pm, Sat. at the funeral home. She will be cremated in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the American Heart Assoc.
Francie was born Oct. 10, 1938 to Frank and Emma Parsons in Kansas City, MO. She was a graduate of William Chrisman High School. She was employed at K-Mart for 32 years before her retirement in 1992. She worked as a Poll Judge on Election Days for the Jackson County Election Board. She enjoyed her friends in the K-Mart Retirees Club and was a loyal Chiefs fan. She had just begun to fulfill her life-long dreams of traveling. Francie was a loving caregiver to her parents and was a friend to everyone.
Francie was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, Bill. She is survived by many loving friends and family, nieces and nephews, a paternal aunt, Elizabeth of California; and her beloved dog, Chica.
