Patricia Eudean "Pat" Patrick (Padgett)

Patricia Eudean “Pat” Patrick, 78, of Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, November 7, 2022 with her family beside her. Pat was born to Garnett and Nora Padgett on December 8, 1943 in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
After graduating from Canadian High School in Canadian, Oklahoma Pat chose to continue her education at Northeast Oklahoma University. She graduated with a bachelors degree before switching schools to CMSU and obtaining her masters degree in teaching in 1988. Shortly after Pat married the love of her life Ronald and to that union came 3 sons. Pat was very passionate about educating children and taught 1st, 2nd and 6th grade until retiring in 2005. Pat also enjoyed reading, playing bingo, her favorite card games (canasta, pitch and bunco) and cheering on her favorite sports team, the Kansas City Royals. Pat loved her family fiercely and never took the time she was able to spend with them forgranted.
Pat is survived by her sons, Erik Patrick, Chris Patrick and Matt Patrick (Tiffany); grandchildren, Gabrielle and Ryelan; brothers, Jimmy and Terry Padgett and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald; parents; brother, Marvin Padgett; sister, Norene Johnson and brother in law, Gene Johnson.
A visitation will be held from 11-12pm on Saturday, November 19th at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Missouri. Funeral service to immediately follow. Cremation is planned.
