Betsy Pearl Patterson

Betsy P. Patterson, 87, Overland Park, KS, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away Aug. 12, 2006. Services will be 3 pm, Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; cremation. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Betsy was born Oct. 22, 1918 in Kansas City, MO. She was a bookkeeper for the family business, Patterson Construction Company-later known as Commerce Construction Co. She was a member and past President of the Independence chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, and a past President of the sorority�s City Council.
Betsy was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jesse "Pat� Patterson in Feb. of this year. She is survived by daughter Sherill Balarashti and husband John, Independence, MO; grandsons Chris Patterson, Oak Grove, MO; Jamie Balarashti and wife Ingrid; Darius Balarashti and wife Janelle; great-granddaughter Meena Balarashti; and great-grandson Jesse Balarashti, all of Overland Park, KS.
