Alice Marion Patton

Marion Patton, 85, of Independence, MO passed away on October 28, 2005 at the Rosewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the chapel, with burial at Floral Hills East Cemetery. Mrs. Patton was born on December 9, 1919 in Armstrong, MO to John and Cornie Bell Dameron. She was a long-time member of the Birchwood Baptist Church, Independence, MO. Marion�s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved spending time with. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Patton; and daughter, Melvis Thomas. Marion is survived by her son, Gary Patton and wife Debbie; one brother, Billy Gene Dameron; two grandchildren, Adam and Brian Patton; and two great-grandchildren, Austin and Audrie Patton.
