Barbara Carroll Pauk, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021 with her husband Roger by her side. She was born to John and Mary Czech on June 23, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Barbara attended school at UMKC and it was there she earned her teaching degree. She taught physical education at Lillis High School before landing her career at Van Horn High School. Barbara made many friends throughout her adventures and kept a close connection with those from her sorority Beta Sigma Phi. Amongst many other things she will be remembered for her crafting. She’d create beautiful floral arrangements for weddings and custom cards for friends and family on every occasion. Barbara was very proud of her designs. She was also a devoted Catholic woman and volunteered much of her time at St. Mark Parish. Barbara was an enormous presence in the life of every person that had the honor of knowing her and will be missed dearly.
