MAXINE E. PAULING 79 OF INDEPENDENCE, MO. PASSED AWAY THURSDAY JUNE 19, 2003 AT THE INDEPENDENCE REGIONAL HEALTH CENTER IN INDEPENDENCE. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD 10:00 AM MONDAY JUNE 23 AT THE OAK RIDGE MEMORY GARDENS. VISITATION WILL BE FROM 2:00 TO 4:00 PM SUNDAY AT THE SPEAKS MIDTOWN CHAPEL. FAMILY SUGGESTS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE BUILDING FUND AT WALNUT PARK COMMUNITY OF CHRIST CHURCH. MAXINE WAS BORN IN INDEPENDENCE ON JANUARY 9, 1924 AND LIVED ALL OF HER LIFE IN THIS AREA. SHE HAD WORKED MANY YEARS FOR PANHANDLE EASTERN PIPELINE CO. AS A FILE CLERK. SHE WAS A FORMER MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF EASTERN STAR #324. AND A MEMBER OF THE WALNUT PARK COMMUNITY OF CHRIST CHURCH. MAXINE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND LILBURN A. PAULING AND A BROTHER HUGH J. ABTER JR. SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SISTER LAVINA J. TAYLOR OF INDEPENDENCE, MO.
