Robert "Dale" Peffer

Dale Peffer, 71, of Independence, MO, passed away on May 29, 2006 at the Medical Center of Independence. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Indep., MO 64052. The service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the chapel. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. Dale was born on September 11, 1934 in Jericho Springs, MO to George and Beulah Peffer. Shortly after, they moved to the Independence area where he lived the rest of his life. Dale graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1953. He was a family man who enjoyed working around his house, as well as traveling. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local #955, and retired from Fleming Food in 1994. Dale is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith Ann Peffer; one son, Stephen Peffer; and one sister, Mae Moffitt. He will be dearly missed.
