Peggy Jo Kelley

Peggy Jo Kelley was born October 24, 1926 in Cowgirl, Mo to Hazel & Johnt Henkins. She graduated high school in Kingston, Mo. on a Sunday and began her banking career the next day. She started working at the old City National Bank, and for 42 years worked there during several bank name changes, until her retirement.

In 1946 she married James B Kelley and they were married for 67 years until his death in 2014. Peggy is survived by Jackie Kelley, Jenifer (Kelly) Cannon. Grandchildren Kelley (Darrin) Spencer, Cody (Kirsten) Jackson, Great Grandchildren Jacob (Kaitlyn) Spencer, Paige Spencer, Cadence Meany-Jackson, Xander, Aleah, Addison Jackson, and her sister Betty Sue Phillippo.

Peggy was the absolute Matriarch of the family. She loved cooking, sewing, and above all else babysitting all of the children, whether they were hers or others.
