Sherri was born on June 25, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to John Pelsor and Jaquline Hodshire. She became very independent at a young age and worked hard her whole life. She worked 40 years at Nitto Automotive and left there as Senior Engineering Technician. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, gardening, and rustic woodworking. Some of her fondest memories were made living on a farm in the Ozarks. Recently, Sherri was extremely proud of her two strong boys that she raised and she was crazy about her granddaughters.
Her life was cut short by cancer but her memory will live on in the lives of her two sons: Brett Wooten and wife Karen of Blue Springs, MO, Brian Pelsor of Independence, MO; granddaughters Eden Wooten and Morgan Pelsor; brother Rick Pelsor; sisters Kelly Poff (Mike), Rhonda Larrabee, and Joy Cannady (Dan).
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Butch Plummer.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
