Valerie Kim Pena, Independence, MO passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to assist with expenses.
Valerie was born July 1, 1958 in Sedalia, MO the daughter of Bud and Esther Waller. She received her Masters in Sociology. Valerie was a member of the Hallmark Club. She will be missed by many of her family and friends that received cards from Valerie on a regular basis. Valerie enjoyed spending time with her family and animals.
She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Pena; daughter, Angela Pena; and her parents.
Survivors include her husband Richard Pena; son, David Pena; brother, Mike Waller, and her biological family whom she recently was fortunate to know before her passing.
