Eddie Ray Peoples, 83, Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Eddie was born February 5, 1931 in Clarksville, AR the son of Elmer and Ethel (Morelan) Peoples. For over 50 years he was an over the road truck driver for numerous companies including, M&J Trucking, Bill Star Trucking, and Mid America Trucking. Eddie owned and operated Peoples Used Auto Sales for over 20 years in Kansas City. He was a proud recipient of the “One Million Mile Accident Free” award and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Ray Peoples, Sr.; two brothers; one sister; and his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Marci Ripley and husband Bill; son, Craig Peoples; grandchildren, Johnathon, Tracy, and Ronald Ray, Jr.; two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and additional nieces, nephews and family.
