Linda Marie Perez (Montoya)

Linda Perez 67, of Independence, Mo. passed away peacefully, Saturday the 4th day of February, 2017 surrounded by her family. Linda was born November 19, 1949. She was a lifelong resident of the Independence area. Linda worked for the Adams Mark Hotel for 27 years and for Goodwill Industries before she retired. Linda was an extraordinary beautiful kind soul who will be missed by so many. Linda was predeceased by her husband Antonio Perez, her father, Joe Montoya. One brother, Peter Perez and one sister, Mary Lou Perez.
She is survived by her parents, Juan and Ruth Perez, a son, Bobbie Walz Jr. (April) a daughter, Angie Montoya Rapper, one sister, Yolanda M. Adams (Donald), seven brothers, Joey Montoya (Connie), John Perez, Anthony Montoya, Ricardo Montoya, Thomas Perez, Mike Perez (Judy) and Joe Perez. Seven grandchildren, Christina, Brandon, and Jessica Rapper, Alex Lee, Derek, Andrew, and January Walz. One great grandson, Lincoln Lee. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, Mo. With A Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass is Thursday, February 9, 2017 @ Nativity of Mary Church, 10017 E. 36th Terrace, Independence, MO at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
