Addie "Estylene� Perkins, 85 of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, May 03, 2005 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 2:00 pm, Fri, May 6, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with the visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Perkins was born on Nov. 13, 1919 to Elbert and Ethel (Crewse) Cline in Manes, Wright County, Missouri and had lived in Independence from 1959 until 1984. She then lived near Table Rock Lake from 1984 until her return to Independence nine years ago. Estylene was a loving homemaker who truly enjoyed her family, whether it was family gatherings, playing bingo, spending time with her two grandchildren or trying to teach her granddaughter and great granddaughter to do the Charleston, her entire family was her life. She will be greatly missed. Estylene was a member of the Colbern Road Baptist Church where she had previously taught Bible Study. She had been very active in the American Legion in the Branson area. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband Marion "Perk� Perkins, a brother, Clarel Cline and a nephew, Gene Cline. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Bob and Carol Hopkins; a grandson, Randy Hopkins; a granddaughter, Kim Osborne and husband Robert and two great grandchildren, Jamie Osborne and Seth Osborne, all of Independence, MO. Three sisters, Elanda McCoy of Springfield, MO, Nonearl Gray of Manes, MO and Phyllis Neal of Manes, MO. Eight nieces and nephews, Mike, Anita, Richard, Jim, Ron, Larry , Donnie and Carol.
