Todd Hamilton Perkins

Todd Perkins, 38, of Independence, MO passed away October 27, 2019. Todd was born September 23, 1981 in Kansas City, MO on his grandfather’s birthday. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Taylor Perkins; mother, Sandy Chappelow and step father, Kent Chappelow; step family, Josh and Beth Chappelow, Jake and Mandy Chappelow, Jessica Chappelow; his grandmother, Delores Fritzemeyer; and half brother, Phillip Perkins. Todd grew up in Lee’s Summit and graduated from Lee’s Summit North High School in 2000. He participated in the Rifle Club, wrestling, soccer, baseball, skateboarding and fishing. He loved fishing so much that he would wear his baseball uniform at the 7 Acre Lake so he wouldn’t miss any fishing time. The joy of his life was his beautiful 6 year old daughter, Morgan, who looked just like him! He loved to take her boating and fishing in Lakewood. He grew up camping and trout fishing every year with his grandparents and mom, so they could celebrate Todd and PaPa’s joint birthday. He is in heaven now and will have no more back pain. We will love and miss you as always. A private service will be held for the family and a few friends.
