Iris Doreen Perrin, 90 of Independence, MO passed away, Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Maywood Terrace Living Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055, with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Iris was born December 19, 1922 in Toronto Ontario, Canada to William Albert and Minnie Valentine (Elkington) Wade. She spent her early life in Canada and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force where she met and latter married Kenneth Perrin. They moved to Independence in the early 1950’s. She had worked as an LPN for Independence Regional Health Center for a number of years before she retired. She is survived by a friend, Marge Banks of Independence, MO.
