Betty Perry

Betty Clastine Perry, 78, of Independence, MO, passed away on November 6, 2014. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Tuesday Nov. 11, 2014 at Sugar Creek Church of Christ 10800 Kentucky Rd. Funeral Services will be 10 am Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at the Church. Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Betty was born on June 2, 1936 in Norborne, MO. 62 years ago she married the love of her life, Zartie. Together they started their own business, Bandee Inc. She was a faithful member of Sugar Creek Church of Christ. Betty enjoyed shopping for shoes and purses. With Zartie by her side, they made 3 trips to Disney World every year. Zartie will miss the trips with his wife, calling her the finest woman that ever lived, and vowing to love her the rest of his life. Survivors include; husband Zartie; daughters Rhonda Lukenbill (Robert Jr.) and Roxanna Gibson (Derek); sons Ed Perry (Kathy), Zartie Perry Jr. (Brenda), and Dewayne Perry (Stephaniee August); sisters Marilyn Cox and Sherlie Schmidt; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her mother Ethlyn Tucker, and Beverly Burks. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Creek Church of Christ.
