Dorothea Virginia Perry

Dorothea Virginia Perry, 93, Independence, MO died March 22, 2014. Graveside services will be 1:30 pm, Wed., March 26 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to Great Plains SPCA Independence Campus, 21001 MO. Hwy. 78, Independence, MO 64057. Dorothea was born June 10, 1920 in LaPoint, UT. Her family moved to Independence, MO and she graduated from William Chrisman High School. She worked for Montgomery Wards for over forty years and retired just before the company went out of business. She loved country music shows and was a protector of all living things especially dogs, cats and horses. She leaves no family.
