Rosy Mary Peryea

Rosy M. Peryea, 81, of Independence, MO, passed away on January 30, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February, 11th at 2:00 p.m. at The Waldo Restoration Church of Jesus Christ, 819 W. Waldo Ave., Independence, MO 64050. Rosy was born on October 2, 1935, in Sutton County, CA to William and Helen (Hargrave) Taylor. She was married to Milton Peryea for 52 years before his passing in 2005. Rosy was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Milton “Johnie” Peryea; son, Donald “Donnie” Peryea and 5 siblings. She is survived by her son, John Peryea of California; two sisters, Violet Day and Mona Gard and her husband Vern, and brother, Joseph Taylor and his wife, EffieDell; 4 grandchildren and their spouses, 13 great-grandchildren and their families and many, many, MANY nieces and nephews. Rosy loved to work word puzzles and embroider, but she is known by her family for her love of the Lord.
