Naomi Pettigrew, 80, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Sept. 28, 2012. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, Oct. 1, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Kansas City Hospice House, 9221 Ward Pkwy, #100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Naomi was born Oct. 25, 1931 in Kansas City and graduated from Southwest High School. She also attended Mesa Community College in Mesa, AZ while living there. She lived in Ft. Collins, CO from 1969 to 1976. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She loved board games, racquetball, swimming, traveling and shopping.
Naomi was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. She is survived by daughters Teresa Tillery and husband Carl, Lee’s Summit, MO; Judy Salins and husband Art, Blue Springs, MO; and granddaughter Ashley Coe, Kansas City, MO.
