Norma J. Phillips (Kitchen)

Norma Josephine Phillips, 87 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at North Kansas City Hospital. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Private inurnment will be held in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Norma was born in Pennsylvania the 12th child of 13. She had worked as a computer operator for the USDA for 14 years and prior to that had worked for Bendix and Yellow Freight. She is survived by a sister, Lettie Wardola; two sons Brian and Brett Lalone. one granddaughter, Tia Bailey and her husband Eric Bailey and three grandchildren. She loved the Lord and her family.
