Phyllis Elaine Bagley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 83 in Independence, Missouri. She was born on March 8, 1940, in Ridgeway, Missouri, to the late Archie and Helen Billups.
Phyllis lived a life dedicated to caring for others. As a homemaker for many years, she lovingly nurtured her children until they were older. Afterward, she found fulfillment working as a cafeteria assistant at Tri City Christian School. Phyllis's commitment to serving others extended far beyond her career – it was a fundamental part of her character. Her charitable nature seemed to permeate every aspect of her life.

It was through her selfless acts that Phyllis exemplified what it meant to be charitable. She gave without reservation and went above and beyond to meet the needs of those around her.
In her free time, Phyllis pursued hobbies that allowed her to continue serving others. Scrapbooking became an opportunity for her to preserve cherished memories and share them with loved ones. She created heartfelt videos filled with pictures that celebrated the experiences they shared together.
Among Phyllis's proudest accomplishments was her involvement with Cancer Action. Phyllis would engage in crocheting projects for the organization even when she couldn't physically be present there. Countless cancer patients are the grateful recipients of her handcrafted slippers and hats. Her tireless efforts in the fight against cancer earned her various awards and recognition. News outlets even featured her exceptional giving nature and the significant work she did with the organization.
Phyllis's dedication extended beyond her immediate circle as well. She volunteered for many years at her church and served as a den mother for scouts. However, it was through fostering that she made an immense impact on young lives in need of love and stability.
Phyllis will be reunited in eternity with her loving husband, Wilbur Bagley, and her son Jon Bagley who preceded her in death. She is survived by her adoring children: Cindy Bagley, Lenny Bagley and his wife Angie, and Wesley Bagley. Phyllis's legacy of love will live on through her cherished grandchildren: Zoey Walburn and her husband Micheal, Samuel Nichols and his girlfriend Morgan Caldwell, and Logan Bagley.
