James Pickerill

James D. Pickerill, 61, of Independence, MO passed June 18, 2012. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. James was born November 11, 1950 in Independence, MO to Virgil L. and Juanita M. (Kramer) Pickerill. He was a person that was always looking to help and give things to others, and recognized the worth in something that was considered trash by another. James will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Pickerill. James is survived by his mother, Juanita Pickerill; two sisters, Alice Stueve and Jean Orrison; and many other loving family members.
