Eva Pinon 75 of Independence, MO., left this world to enter her heavenly home on Saturday, June 10th 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday June 16th 2017 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 17th, 2017 at Nativity Of Mary Catholic Church, 10021 E 36th Terrace S, Independence, MO 64052. Eva was born February 14, 1942 to Bernardino Perez and Mary (Ortega) Perez. She grew up in Cement City. Eva graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1960. She met and married Carlos Pinon of Eagle Pass TX. Together they had 3 children. She was a longtime employee of KMBC TV Channel 9. She worked in the sales/traffic department and retired after 35 years. Eva loved to read, watch old movies, and spending time with her growing family. She will be remembered for her bright smile, warm heart, but most of all her courage. Survivors include her husband Carlos B Pinon, children Angela "Angie" Piñon Hair and her husband Larry, Carlos Pinon and his wife Maria, Maria Teresa Pinon and her husband Anthony Ippolito. Grandchildren: James Scovil and his wife Christine, Danielle Pinon, Christina Craig, Maria Elyse Pinon Reynolds, Anna Marie Pinon, and Eva Ippolito. Two step grand children Christopher Hair and Addison Ippolito, 6 great grandchildren. Sisters: Ruth Stewart, Martha Perez, Rachel Betanzos, and Elizabeth Melahn., half sister Angie St. Dennis.
