Danny Pittman

Danny Lee Pittman, 49 of Buckner, MO passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from injuries received in a car accident at M-78 highway and Truman Rd in Independence, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052 with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. Private inurnment will be held in the Higginsville City Cemetery at a later date. Danny was born January 13, 1963 in Kansas City, MO to Darrell and Janet (Barker) Pittman and has been a lifelong area resident. He had worked as a truck driver and was currently employed by Central Missouri Reload for the past 5 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He was married to Kim Green on June 6, 1992; she survives of the home. Other survivors include; daughters, Racheal Harp, Jenny Pittman, Jessica Weis and Lacey Inman; four grandchildren, Brandon, Brent and Bradlee Schultz and Kylen Weis; three brothers, Bruce, Alan and Mike Pittman; a sister, Cindy Degraffenreid and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Sharla Kay Pittman in 2010.
