Joshua Pittman

Joshua A. Pittman, 34, of Independence, MO passed away June 27, 2013. He was born June 9, 1979 in Independence, MO to Gary and Shirley (Pittman) Turner. He was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Independence Public Works. His survivors include 3 daughters, Alissa Bond, Dakotah Pittman and Haley Pittman; mother, Shirley Turner; sister Courtney Bohanan and husband Luke; stepsister, Amber Turner; stepbrother, Billy Turner and wife Jackie; as well as two nephews, Rebel and Eli. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Pittman; and stepfather, Butch Turner. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Josh was loved and will be missed by his family and many friends!
