Wendell Dee Pitts

Wendell Dee Pitts, 89, peacefully passed away at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit, 2 N Douglas, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Floral Hills East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Dee was born August 20, 1928 in Flemington, MO to Joseph and Rhoda (Higgins) Pitts. Dee is survived by his loving wife of over 63 years, Bonnie (Spears) Pitts; daughters Vicky Brisco and husband Rich, Sharon Alexander and husband Rick; grandchildren Haley, Brandon, Jessica, Jason; great-grandchildren Jayden, Wyatt and Weston; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
