Jack Pixler, 79, of Independence, MO, passed away, Monday April 26, 2004 at St. Mary�s Hospital of Blue Springs. Cremation is planned. The family will have a memorial visitation from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday evening at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society. Jack was born December 3, 1924 in Springfield, MO to Frank and Flora (Hall) Pixler. He graduated from high school in Princeton, MO. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After his service time he went to work as a auditor for the Continental Baking Company from 1947 until he retired in 1984. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Blvd Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Taylor. Other survivors include; a daughter, Mary Jane Patient and husband Arthur of Lake Lotawana, MO and a grandson David Patient of Independence, MO.
