Ardys Virginia Place

Ardys Virginia Place, age 81, of Lee�s Summit, MO. died Wed., Feb. 8, 2006. Graveside services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 pm, Monday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer�s Assoc. Mrs. Place was born Ardys Virginia Langvardt in Junction City, KS. She served in the Navy as a WAVE during WWII, was a homemaker, volunteered at the hospital, and worked for General Electric for 10 years. She was a member of Southwest Bible Church. Survivors include three children: two daughters, Kathy Holzwarth of Salina, KS; Judy Gibson of Lee�s Summit, MO; a son, Randy Place of Edmond, OK; a sister, Faye Glidewell of Florida; two brothers, Art Langvardt of Hastings, NE; Harold Langvardt of Clay Center, KS; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
