Magaly “Maggie” Plummer, 63, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 21, 2021.
Maggie was born on September 7, 1958, in Puerto Rico, daughter to Juan and Ada (Gonzalez) Padin.
At the age of 5, Maggie and her family moved to New York settling in the Bronx. After graduating high school, Maggie started working at TWA when she met the love of her life and best friend Darrel.
Maggie and Darrel got married in Las Vegas, at the “We’ve Only Just Begun” chapel, then settling in Kansas City, Missouri area.
Maggie was a tremendous cook and enjoyed doing so for her family and friends. Known as a very caring and the most loving woman, she could always make everyone laugh with her wit and humor. Maggie will be greatly missed.
Maggie is survived by her husband of a wonderful 32 years, Darrel Plummer; daughter, Justine (Dalton) Doerr; brother, George Padin; loving cousin and dear friend, Elizabeth Lara; niece, Allegra Padin; many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Ada Padin and her brother, Martin Padin.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, Missouri. Family will greet guest between the hours of 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
