Vivian E. Postupack, 77, Independence, Mo. died April 5, 2005 at Independence Regional Hospital. Services will be 2 pm, Sat., April 9, 2005 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the C.P.R.S. Restoration School. Vivian was born June 15, 1927 in Michigan and moved to Missouri at the age of 13. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and first attended Stone Church where she sang in the choir. She also was a member of a chorus directed by Josephine Mader and worked with the Girls Dept. She then taught Sunday School at Walnut Park and attended Enoch Hill Congregation. She enjoyed quilting, bird watching and decorating wedding cakes. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Michael D. Postupack and grandson Bradley S. Culp. She is survived by daughters Vonda Kirtley, Carrier, MS; Valerie Powell, Indep., MO; and Tamara Culp, MO; grandchildren Victoria Modlin and husband David, TX; and Sgt. Vanessa Snodgrass, U.S. Army, and husband Bill, Purvis, MS; great-grandchildren Morgan Modlin, David Modlin, Jr.; and many other friends and family.
