David E. Pozin

David E. Pozin, 72, of Independence, MO passed away on March 20, 2007 at his home. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the chapel. Burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Crossroads Hospice. David was born on May 25, 1934 in Kansas City, MO, to John and Florence (Slagle) Pozin. He was a retired Lithographer and member of GCIU Local #235. David was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. He is survived by his wife of the home, Delores Pozin; daughters, Sharon (Scott) Brown of Arlington, TN, Cheryl (John) Huber of Independence, MO, Cindy (Nolan) Kincart of Independence, MO, and Kathy (Jim) Coy of Lone Jack, MO; eight grandchildren, Madison Brown, Lindsey Huber, Jimmie Coy, Nathan Kincart, Mark Huber, Megan (Josh) Green, Laura Huber and Carrie Coy; as well as his beloved companion, Peaches, his cocker spaniel.
