Donald Lee Prall, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was 91 years old.
Donald was born September 11, 1929, in Norton, Kansas to John Prall and Mildred Forbes. He was one of two sons. Growing up primarily in Sedalia, after graduating from Smith Cotton High School, Don married Mary Marie Neitzert, from their union came one daughter, Judy. Don had moved to Buckner, Missouri and was employed at Missouri Public Service as a planning coordinator and electrician for 37 years, before retiring. Don was also a member of the Buckner Mason Lodge for over 50 years and also the Eastern Star with his wife Mary. Don was an extremely hard worker and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time working on his farm but there was nothing he loved more than his family.
Don is survived by his daughters, Judy (Thomas) Teter, and Kathy Sue Hoover; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. He is preceded by his parents, John and Mildred Prall; brother, Clyde Vernon Prall; and in 2014 his best friend and beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Marie (Neitzert) Prall.
A visitation will be held 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 24, 2021 Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016, with funeral service to be held 10 am Wednesday, August 25, 2021, also at Speaks Buckner Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park in Sedalia, Mo.
