John Edward Pratt

John Edward Pratt, 73, of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, Mo. Cremation is planned with burial to take place at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ten Mile, Tennessee. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, 3637 Broadway, Kansas City, Mo. 64111.
John Edward Pratt was born on March 24, 1948 in Salinas, California to his parents, James Howard and Jean (Glover) Pratt. John graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1967. John is a Lutheran and a member of All Saints Lutheran Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and uncle and very devoted to his family and his little dog Buttercup.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; daughter, Jennifer Wilson and husband Derek of Blue Springs, Mo.; sisters, Kay Braley of Raytown, Mo., Sandy McMillian and husband John of Kansas City, Ks.; and brother, Larry Pratt of Phoenix, Az.
He is preceded in death by his parents and older brother, James Dudley Pratt.
