Betty L. Price, 84, Independence, MO died Dec. 4, 2013 Memorial services will be 10 am, Thursday, Dec 12 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service. Committal services will follow at 2 pm at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley KS. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, 6400 Prospect Ave., Kansa City, MO 64132.
Betty was born Nov. 13, 1929 in Stillwell, KS. She was preceded in death by husband Gordon Price; son Ed Price; brothers Bob, Frank and Jerry Martin; sisters Eileen Mays and Dorothy Dougan. She is survived by daughter Linda Hager and husband Roger, Independence, MO; sister Mayola Haines; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
