Ona Prince

Ona Colleen Prince, 83, of Independence, MO passed away June 30, 2014 at her home. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Ona Colleen was born June 14, 1931 in Laramie, WY, to Delmar and Opal Inez (Collier) Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clark Beam Prince; daughter, Jennifer Colleen Speiser; 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Puhr, Cindy Hunsaker, Kim Tiffin and Becky Ball; two sisters, Geraldine Roberts and Thomasena Skaggs; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. How do you put to paper the entire life of a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved to read and garden whenever she had a free moment. She worked hard all of her life, but always found time for the simple pleasures of nature. Above all else, she loved her family, spending time with any and all who came to visit, telling stories or continually trying to feed them. We miss you mom.
