Susan Pryer

Susan J. Pryer, 55, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007 at the University of Kansas Medical Center after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Independence, MO. The Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Inurnment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Susan was born in St. Joseph, MO and was a 1969 graduate of Central High School in St. Joseph. She received her nursing degree from St. Margaret in 1972 and continued to advance her nursing career with a lifelong commitment to higher education. Susan received advanced degrees from both Webster University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Susan is survived by her husband, Freeman Pryer; one daughter, Lili Martin; mother Sally Kuschel; sister, Rita Cospelich; brother, David Kuschel; four nieces, Stephanie and Vanessa Cospelich and Katie and Kari Kuschel; and one grandson, Nicolas Martin. The family wishes to thank friends and loved ones for their love, prayers, support and kindness. Susan, you will be forever loved and missed.
